Improving your silage management by using a silage inoculant can greatly increase the profit from your cattle.
What Are Silage Inoculants?
Silage inoculants are used to help control the fermentation process of ensiled forage, while maintaining the highest nutritional value possible and limiting the risk of spoilage in your silage. They will allow you to store fodder for longer periods of time without spoiling, and can help cows produce as much as 3-5% more milk each day.
Specifically, our inoculants reduce pH under anaerobic conditions by converting carbohydrates and sugar to lactic acids. This prevents growth of organisms that rob nutrients from your forage. Heterofermentative acid bacteria will also reduce the growth of unwanted fungi.
Our products come in different varieties, offering a perfect solution for every stage of the fermentation process and every crop. With higher nutritive quality and a minimized risk of spoiling, our inoculants improve your bottom line.
